Blogpost

My flatmate has just got one of the new Mac computers, which has access to itunes and other Digital photo bits and pieces. So while I'm on holiday next week, I'm planning on buying an Ipod and he's going to teach me how to transpose music from one medium to the other. Most exciting !!

Adding to my last Post. Still trying to get onto Mappr etc, but it keeps timing out. However even thought I'll move on will keep having a go. Have set up a Flickr account so will be able to play later.

Next week

Finally, with Julia's help, I've managed to add a picture to my blog. However each time I try to look at mashups today it locks me out. How frustrating ! ! !

Flickr

As I don't own a digital camera (yet) I'm finding the whole process used to add photos or images to my blog to be a real challenge. Not being one of the technologically gifted, Heather don't say a word, it's been quite a stretch. I don't have an image yet, but it'll be there soon, promise.

However wandering thru Flickr etc has been really interesting, and have become keen to become proficient at adding photos at the very least. Sigh.

Week 2

Okay, so I'm a bit behind. But I had a look at the various sites. Have to say as a Facebook user from ages ago , I like it better than the others. My favourite site within Facebook is the Auckand City Libraries for Life, who knew there were so many of us out there with memories. MySpace is okay, but I found Bebo a little confusing, but I'm a bit of a Luddite on the computer networking side of things. Still it was good to see what's out there and the differences.

Loving the new Self Check Units, no alarm bells so far.....

First Post

Aagghhh. Just learning how this all works. The hardest part is trying to be creative when you have no idea what you're doing. Luckily my knight(ess) in shining armour, Julia, is across the desk from me and is being very helpful.
Also, Rachael is great and I am learning how to blog day by day. I think that's 50 words....
